Q: Do you think the new Camaro or the new Mustang is the cooler car?
I am a die-hard Chevy fan, I LOVE the Camaro, and I’m about to graduate college, and hopefully be able to buy one of these cars soon. But I’ve been looking at the new Mustangs lately…I love how they look so much like the old Mustangs. This is seriously a tough choice!! Which do you think is the cooler/better car? I would be going for the V8 and manual transmission.
By the way, please don’t talk about other cars, I have narrowed it down to these two.
A: Its been tested and proven that the Camro handles a road course quicker! Why wouldn’t it. An independant rear axle set-up as compared to Ford’s old fashoned wheel hopping solid rear end.
There’s a batch of new engines coming out very soon for the Camaro which will bury ANY Moustang on a road course or drag strip. The 2012 Camaro will have the ZL1 engine which makes 550 horsepower!

I am currently interested in buying an ‘82 Camaro Z28, but I do not have any knowledge in Veggie oil fuel.
A: Unless you transplant a diesel engine into that Camaro, it’s not going to run on “veggie oil.”
A spark plug will not ignite diesel fuel or “veggie oil.”

A: It depends on the paint system you use. Some you reduce 10%, some 75%. The more you reduce it, the more you end up with.
Q: How to replace the clutch slave cylinder on a 95 camaro?
The clutch slave cylinder on my 95 Camaro 3.4L is leaking and needs to be replaced. Any tips on how to replace it? It appears that is just a matter of removing the 2 bolts that hold it in place along with fluid hose. Anything to be aware of when doing the replacement?

It’s a 1983 z28 but I think it had a 350 5.7L instead of a 305 5.0 w/a fivespeed.
A: About 3500 dollars. I had a new 83 camaro. They have something called crossfire induction rather than fuel injection. This was an inferior setup and lasted one year. Whatever you do do not reuse that system. The best bet is to buy a new crate motor and have it installed using the old parts needed from the current car, assuming it ran and did not have the crossfire engine. If you take the garage motor, I agree it will need work prior to installation, plus he will see that it is missing while it is being rebuilt. You can have a garage collect the new crate engine and the bits needed to install it and haul the camaro out and have it installed pretty quickly, although one day would be a miracle.

Q: How do i get into a 95 camaro without the key?
I need to get into my 95 camaro but the doors are locked and all i have is the ignition key. I’ve tried to “slim jim” the locks with a clothes hanger but that failed miserably, i also have a small enough crack in the window to stick the hanger in and i have tried to hit the power locks but the hanger will just bend because it’s a piece of crap. I havent tried anything else on it though but if my sister is right she says the locks wont work with the car off because they are power locks and the battery is most likely dead do to inactivity. If anyone has any ideas on how to get in this bitch let me know 
A: power door locks won`t work . It`s a prevent for thieves. After ten minutes it kills the power to it. Got to the front of the window with a coat hanger and grab the manual lock .
Q: Can a camaro frame fit on a 2000 chevy monte carlo?
I would like to put a camaro engine in my 2000 monte carlo. Can it be done?
A: Nothing to do with frame. The camaro is rear wheel drive, monte carlo is front wheel drive. Forget it. By a newer monte with the v8 instead. You do not have enough skill to do something like this if you are asking how to do it.
Q: How come when you roll up to a two lane stop light with a camaro v8 every car rolls behind you not beside?
I get this instead of people taking both lanes like normal if im at the front with my v8 camaro everyone lines up behind me. Its ridiculous and if you use all that power at city speed you would be dead or need new tires.
Its actully kind of funny because I drive for a living and there are many modern cars that are faster.
How come when I drive my seden nobody does that stuff.
A: I usually do not pay much attention to what you drive. It is how you drive that usually gets my notice. As long as you are driving within the norms, it does not matter much to me if you are ahead or beside mine.
Q: How to install hood pins on a 79 Camaro?
Im getting a 6in. fiberglass pin-on cowl hood for my Camaro and would really appreciate any tips, directions, or even pics to help me out. Thanks and HELP!
A: First bolt the hood up and get it aligned and bolt it down. Then find a spot were you want the hood pins to be on the radiator support, drill holes for the pins making sure they are both even and put them in and put some grease on the top of the pins and slow put the hood in the pins and lift up, you will now have the spots were you need to drill holes. You should be able to figure the rest out.
Q: How hard is it to swap a 572 into a 69 camaro?
i love huge engines, and hope to get an eldorado soon, and in the future swap a 572 into a 1st gen camaro (dream car). How complicated is it? im pretty good with my hands, i swapped an engine into an integra before. Is it fairly similar with a camaro?
A: It is a very tight fit. you will have to use stock cast iron exhaust manifolds and make custom engine mounts. It is possible that there is a kit for it. You may have to put a hood scoop on because of clearance problem. You will need heavier front coil springs to handle the extra weight.Changing spark plugs maybe difficult. There maybe no room for an A/C compressor.
I would stick with a Small Block like a 350, with maybe a supercharger or turbocharger.

whats the difference between a 73 camaro and a 79 camaro. Are the back ends the same or are the different? Are the tail lights the same?
A: All the major things you see are different. The shape and size of rear glass, the look of tail lights, the tail light filler panel, the front nose, bumper, rear bumper, the dash, console, gauges. I think the seats are too.. Low back vs. high back seats

I would like to repaint my 1995 camaro and I was just wanting a general price it would be at a body shop?
A: The other guys both gave you great data but if your on a budget you could sand it down and prime it yourself , tape everything off and get a macco job. Just make sure your specific with them and tell them you want clear coat too. Normally macco will just spray over whatever you have on the car and wont clear coat the car so you paint is pealing in a few days , Hoped this Helped !
Q: How to put a carseat in a 1989 Camaro?
We are having a baby tomorrow, and have a Safety 1st Car Seat and a 1989 Camaro. The seat can go in the back passenger side, but the front seat touches the carseat no matter how far forward it is. We wouldn’t use the front seat with the car seat behind it, but would it be safer to put the seat in the front? (Rear facing, no airbags, as far back as possible?) Ir to take out the front seat completely? Thanks for your input!
A: if you take the car and carseat to your local police station or fire station, they will install it for you, and they know which way is best for different types of cars.
