A: If you want to loose control in Mustang GT you can because it’s engine produces 300hp, 320 ft/trq and that can spin the wheel easily at first gear. Shift slowly and don’t get it to high rpms. It will be an awesome car, beside mustangs have one of the safest chassis. It’s 5 star in front, side and rollover crashes for the front seats.

A: If you have a ton of money for a custom swap like that sure. Nothing will bolt up or connect. Companies don’t make their parts compatible with other companies.

A: If you get in the back facing the back seat you should be able to push the seat bottom or cushion towards the back of the car and then pull up on it at the same time. Once it’s out you should see where the seat back is bolted down. Good luck.

A: Depends on what you want to get!!!! if you want to impress the girls, get a convertible, ride with the wind and the sun in your face. If you love power get the 07*500 Shelby; anything in between are just as good AND AFFORDABLE. This is a working man’s sportscar. But if you want to show off your money, then its a different story. Those guys driving 911; MB; Jaqs; BMW would despise you and look down on you. Its a free country. I was told there are over 4 millions of them around, give or take 1 millions. Best of luck. A: The oldest Fox-based “Stangs are more than 20 years old, and the newest ones are 16 years old. The mileage sounds pretty good, unless of course those miles were put on it at the drag strip, 1/4 mile at a time.
The Mustangs of this vintage are pretty straightforward mechanically, and replacement parts should be easy enough to come by. chevck for rust and wreck damage, the same as you would any other vehicle, and look and listen for any signs of imminent mechanical collapse, and you’ll do fine.

ok i love the design and look of the 1965 Ford mustang. But those cars just burns through gas. Is it even possible to restore the car and make it electric? Know of any places that do it? I just want the car to be more fuel efficient? Any suggestions would be welcome.

A: It is called a pony car. The Mercury Montego and Ford Gran Torino of the same years look similar, as does the earlier Ford Fairlane GT. These cars will not be cheap to operate, but may be cheaper to insure.

A: If I had too choose between the two cars, I would buy the Shelby. The current generation Shelby Mustangs are going to be highly sought after collector cars in the future, just like the 1960’s Mustangs & Shelby’s models are now.

A: If this is a daily driver, get the GT.
If this is a long-term investment or a show-car, get the Shelby.
I am guessing it’s the former, which is why the GT is way more practical for you.
Plus, it’s like $20K less.
You rarely get a chance to open up 500 horsepower on city streets and highways.
300+ Horsepower is enough for everyday driving and your insurance will be less expensive.
Heck, you may even want to consider the 2011 Mustang V6. It comes with 305 horsepower and gets 31 mpg highway.

A: unless you have some Type of a posi rear end, only one wheel will spin. It takes horsepower and torque to spin both back tires, and a v6 doesn’t have it. doing burnouts my look cool to all your friends, be sure and take up a collection from them for the new transmission your going to need because smoking the tires kills tyranny’s

My friend has an extra alternater which I’m in dire need. He said he would put it in for me free but i do not know if a truck of the same maker and same year will work for my 2001 ford mustang… HELP!
A: No. I’m guessing what you really want to know if the alternator is a “bolt-in” replacement for yours. Sorry, truck parts won’t help.
If your Mustang has the 3.8 V6, the alternators that will bolt in are from ‘01 to ‘04 3.8 Mustangs only. Inceidentally 130 amps, as heavy duty as any 2001 Ford pickup, even the diesels.
If your Mustang is a GT with the 4.6 SOHC engine, alternators from ‘99-’04 Mustang 4.6’s are the bolt-in.
Lastly, if you have a Cobra 4.6 DOHC, you would need an alternator from an ‘01-’04 Cobra.
